May 21 MusicFest Downtown Stuart featuring Boss Groove

This month’s MusicFest features local favorite Boss Groove, a seven-piece band known for its dance-move-inducing bass, strong originals and killer covers. As always, there will be food, beer and wine for sale, arts and crafts vendors and bounce houses, a rock wall and face painting for the kids. Lawn chairs are recommended. Coolers are not.

When: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. the third Friday of every month.

Where: Gazebo Park, one block from Osceola Street and Colorado Avenue, next to the Martin County Courthouse

Benefitting: Martin Memorial Lifesavers Goombay Bash 2010. Since its inception in 2002, the Goombay Bash has brought in $364,530 for the Martin Memorial Foundation. The 2009 event welcomed more than 650 patrons and raised over $108,000, funding new technology, equipment and facilities at the maternal-child department at Martin Memorial.
