RiverWalk Music Series returns in October

If you’re a big fan of music and an even bigger fan of “free,” you’ll be glad to know The Riverwalk Music Series is returning the first Sunday in October, then will continue on a weekly basis throughout the season. Co-founder and organizer Ron Hart will talk about The Rockin’ Riverwalk Series, which takes place on the third Sunday of every month, on Talkin’ Tourism Friday, Aug. 20. Tune in at 10:05 a.m., or listen in at www.wpsl.com.

The public is invited to attend the free concerts, which will be held Downtown every Sunday afternoon, 1 to 4 p.m., rain or shine. The RiverWalk Stage is located along the St. Lucie River boardwalk at the end of St. Lucie Ave in Historic Downtown Stuart. Threatening weather will move the free music indoors to the Rec Center in Flagler Park.

Series sponsors include Seacoast National Bank, Mulligan’s Beach House Bar and Grill, the Stuart News, radio station Coast 101, the Downtown Business Association (DBA) and the City of Stuart Community Services.
