Downtown preservation and economic development group, Stuart Main Street, is gathering community input on the potential redevelopment of the Stuart City Hall site. Main Street will hold three public input meetings. The first, Friday, January 31, 2014 at 8:30 am at Flagler Place, 201 SW Flagler Avenue, will focus on the history of the site and how its use has evolved over time. The second and third, to be held back to back the morning and afternoon of Friday, February 14, 2014 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm will focus on identifying the characteristics of a successful site use and evaluating the individual components of a successful plan. Those meetings will be held in the City Hall Commission Chambers at 121 SW Flagler Avenue. Members of the public are encouraged to participate in these meetings.
