Stuart partners with local agencies to launch community garden

The City of Stuart is partnering with the Stuart Community Redevelopment Agency, Martin County and the University of Florida Extension Office to launch a Stuart Community Garden.

The garden, to be located in the East Stuart community, is currently under construction. Once plant beds are created and dirt put in place local community partners will begin gardening in the seven plot garden. Interested individuals and community groups may attend a kick-off meeting this Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the 10th Street Recreation Center at 724 SE 10th Street in Stuart.
